Casamigos began as the private "house tequila" of George Clooney and Rande Gerber, made for sharing with friends before its 2013 launch turned it into one of the world's favourite premium tequilas. It is crafted from hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours and fermented for an extra-slow 80 hours — roughly twice the industry average — before resting for around seven months in premium American white oak barrels. The result is a golden-honey reposado that is silky and refined: caramel and cocoa on the nose, dried fruits and spicy oak over sweet agave on the palate, and a medium-to-long, exceptionally smooth finish. Made to be sipped neat or over ice, it also elevates a Margarita or Paloma to celebration status.
